Thanks for the feedback. I am definitely looking at picking up a pair of those for myself as my Nike metcon 6 are definitely in need of an upgrade now. Do you do many shorts runs in them?

@@STAGFITNESS They do great for short sprints and lateral movement; I would not recommend going over 800m in them. I use them mainly for plyo and lifting, and they hold up well without any discomfort. I have both the Nike Metcon and the Under Armor tribase on my short list.

I like the Pixel watch 2 because of how seamless it functions with the pixel phone and it's on par with the apple watch in terms of quality, but the battery life is so poor your forever charging it. I do prefer the more in-depth fitness tracking that's available on the Garmin watches, but again that only if you're prepared to pay a lot more.

@@STAGFITNESS I was with Fitbit for a very long time, and I used to exercise for about two hours at home, and after that, I walked ten miles, seven days a week, and what encouraged me was the Fitbit app design. I stopped exercising for about a year, and a few days ago I entered Fitbitapp again, and it has changed a lot. I did not like it at all, and this is not just my opinion. Almost everyone is complaining about the new version and for what I'm reading almost evreyone is asking to change the way it was. Why did you not hear from its users and return it to the way it was? the new version is very annoying and not encouraging at all

Casual running they both will have you covered, it's a hard choice.... If you're not into competitive running and it's for general fitness then I would go with the one you prefer the look of. On the Garmin website there is also a comparison option if you really want to see exactly what features you will miss out on to make your choice a little easier.

Vivo active 5 is still good for the gym if you are not in need of elevation change tracking and focus on mainly treadmill runs. Other wise the 165 may be a better choice for that., but they will still do both do the basics of multi sport tracking for basic gym needs at this price point. Otherwise I would recommend the Venu 3 for the larger screen to work with..

@@STAGFITNESS but 165 doesn’t have gyroscope..what difference will it make without the gyroscope?

Good question, unfortunately I've never had the 3. But it's around the same size as the charge 4 which I had and it looks slightly smaller due to the rounded edges instead of the square edges of the charge 4. The charge 6 isn't a bulky fitness tracker. Hope that helps.

The charge 6 is still really light weight and you won't notice the size difference to much compared to the inspire 3 as it still looks small on the wrist. It really depends on if you are going to use the extra sensors. Plus you could always order and send it back if it was unsuitable. Hope that helps

Do you mean another device that works with the inspire 2 using the Fitbit tracking ecosystem or a brand new device that does it all? Plus what's your budget please?

What made you go with the 265 over the 965? Do you feel the 265 had everything you needed?

Unfortunately not you will need to upgrade to the 255 or 265 for that.

Its a great beginners watch as it covers all the basic fitness and health tracking features you will need.

Forerunner 165 would be my choice.

Is versa free still for sale?

Versa 3 is still available on the Fitbit website.

I would recommend the Fitbit sens 2, charge 6 or Garmin Venu 3 as good starting points.

Yes it is disappointing, I'm hoping this year's version will at least have got this missing feature added.

@STAGFITNESS In your testing, did you find any issues with poor water resistance? That's something I've read about.

@@JBlinky67 I read the same but I've had no issues with rain or the shower on any of my fit bits. Unfortunately I'm not using it for swimming as its primary use, so unsure how it would hold up in the long term.

Very true but trust me some of these workouts are hard work and fast paced.

Not a stupid question as they all vary based on the battery modes. In normal smartwatch mode the 42mil is up to 11 days, 18 days for the 47mil and the 51mil is 28 days not including solar charging.

I didn't have any issues with mine. But I do take a break from wearing fitness watches from time to time , as my wrists start to get irritated after a bit.

Yes you are correct there's hardly any difference between the 2.
